1. Data you choose to provide
You can use Lunari without an account. If you sign in with Apple or Google, Firebase Authentication may process your name, email address, provider identifier, and an app user identifier so the app can authenticate you. Your cycle profile, period history, daily logs, symptoms, moods, notes, hydration, weight, and temperature entries are stored locally on your device. Lunari does not send the contents of these health-journal entries to advertising services.
2. Data collected automatically
- Analytics: Firebase Analytics may collect app interactions, app-instance and device identifiers, general device information, and purchase-related events. Sensitive cycle and daily-log details are excluded from analytics events.
- Diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash logs, performance and diagnostic information, device information, and app-instance identifiers to help us fix errors.
- Advertising: Google Mobile Ads may process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostics to serve, measure, and protect ads. Where required, Lunari requests consent and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission.
- Purchases: Apple processes App Store purchases. Lunari receives product and entitlement status needed to unlock Premium and restore purchases.
3. How data is used
We use data to provide sign-in and app functionality, maintain purchase access, understand aggregate app performance, diagnose crashes, prevent fraud, show and measure ads for non-Premium users, and respond to support requests.
4. Storage and retention
Cycle and daily-log data remains on your device using iOS file protection until you delete it in the app or remove the app. Authentication data remains with Firebase until the account is deleted or retention is otherwise required by law. Analytics, diagnostics, advertising, and purchase data are retained under the policies of the relevant service providers.
5. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your cycle journal. Lunari relies on Apple, Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Mobile Ads, and Google User Messaging Platform to provide the services described above. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Your choices
- Use Lunari without an account.
- Deny tracking permission without losing core cycle-tracking features.
- Open Privacy Choices in the app where available.
- Delete local data or your account from Account & Settings.
- Contact us to request help with privacy or account deletion.
7. Children’s privacy
Lunari is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.
8. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical safeguards, including iOS file protection for local journal data. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their safeguards and applicable law. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Lunari changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are published. Questions or requests can be sent to quoctl96@gmail.com.
